Housing and Hospitality
The Acoustic Guitar Workshops farmhouse provides single and double rooms. We try to satisfy the taste of each participant by offering simple dishes in line with dietary requirements. We focus on authenticity above all, selecting raw materials from the Musone Valley ‘Hortus,’ a cooperative of farmers and producers who pay special attention to the environment and consumer health. We source vegetables, grains, legumes, meat. Sometimes, the guests who want to cooperate in food preparation can help in the kitchen.
We have a surrounding green area of about 3,000 mt. We turn the harvest from fruit trees into jams and cakes of irresistible appeal.
Where we are
We are on the Monte Torto hill, about 7 km from Osimo. The farmhouse where guitar courses take place was built in the late 1800s. It arouses admiration for the magnificent hill and mountain panorama: to the south-east are the ‘Sibillini’ mountains, and to the south-west you can make out the outline of the ‘San Vicino’ mountain, part of the Umbria-Marche Apennines. The southern wall of the hill is covered mainly with vineyards, olive groves and other seasonal crops.
Villages and attractions
Osimo is an ancient rural village situated on a high hillock. A half-hour drive away is the Adriatic Sea, which from Monte Conero offers breathtaking landscapes and renowned beaches such as ‘Portonovo‘, ‘Numana’, ‘Sirolo’.
Among the places, relevant in historical and touristic terms, we recommend: Loreto that hosts the famous ‘Basilica di Loreto’ destination of pilgrims from all over the world; Recanati birthplace of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi; Offagna one of the most beautiful medieval villages in Italy; Castelfidardo luogo di produzione delle fisarmoniche, nota per il Museo ed il festival internazionale che si svolge ogni anno nel mese di settembre. place of accordion production, known for the Museum and the international festival held every year in September. Inland, not to be missed are the extraordinary Frasassi Caves.
