Activity
The Acoustic Guitar Workshops was founded in 2009 by Franco Morone and Raffaella Luna.
The fingerstyle guitar courses take place in a typical Marche farmhouse, suggestive for its hillside location and the quality of the services offered.
In addition to acoustic guitar courses, we have a studio recording to produce Cds and music books. We also provide artistic advice on events related to traditional and acoustic music.
Acoustic Guitar Workshops: “The ideal place with your guitar!”
Structure and hospitality
The Acoustic Guitar Workshops farmhouse has single and double rooms. Trying to satisfy the palate of every participant, we aim at genuineness. Therefore we choose raw materials from Val Musone ‘Hortus,‘ a cooperative of breeders and producers that pay particular attention to the environment and consumer health. We stock up on vegetables, cereals, legumes, meat. Sometimes it is possible to welcome accompanying guests to the kitchen to collaborate in food preparation.
We have surrounding greenery of about 3000 meters. We transform the harvest of fruit trees into jams and cakes of irresistible appeal.
Where we are
We are on the ‘Monte Torto‘ hill about 7 km from Osimo. The farmhouse where the guitar courses take place is of the 19th century. The magnificent hilly and mountainous panorama: the southeast extends the ‘Sibillini’ mountains, the south-west is the profile of the mountain ‘San Vicino,’ part of the Umbria-Marche Apennines. The south wall of the hill is covered mainly by vineyards, olive groves, and other seasonal crops.
Villages and attractions
Osimo is an ancient rural village on a high hillock. In half an hour by car, you can reach the Adriatic sea. Monte Conero offers breathtaking landscapes and renowned beaches such as ‘Portonovo,’ ‘Numana’ and ‘Sirolo.’
Among the villages, relevant from a historical and tourist point of view, we recommend Loreto hosting the famous ‘Basilica of Loreto,’ a destination of pilgrims from all over the world. Recanati, the birthplace of the famous poet Giacomo Leopardi. Offagna is one of the most beautiful medieval Italian villages. Castelfidardo, famous for the accordions production, is known for the Museum and September’s international festival. Towards the hinterland unmissable and extraordinary Frasassi caves.
